This year’s selection includes both affordable options and models from well-known premium manufacturers. Available brands include Pirelli, Vredestein, Kumho, Toyo, Landsail, Atlander, Hankook, Arivo and several others. Nokian Tyres is also a new addition to this year’s range.

One of the most significant developments this season is the expansion of Landsail’s winter tyre range. The manufacturer is introducing three completely new models developed for Nordic winter conditions.

Landsail’s new generation of winter tyres

Landsail is known on the Estonian market primarily for its affordable pricing and strong value for money. In recent years, the manufacturer has taken a significant step forward: a new factory in Morocco has begun operations, and the result of long-term product development is now reaching the market in the form of tyres specifically designed for demanding Nordic winter conditions.

The new models have been developed with cold temperatures, snow, ice and slush in mind. The result is three winter tyres for different applications, suitable for both everyday driving and intensive commercial use.

Landsail PolarDragon Soft – a soft-compound Nordic studless tyre

The Landsail PolarDragon Soft is a Nordic studless winter tyre with a soft rubber compound that remains flexible even at low temperatures. This allows the tyre to adapt more effectively to cold road surfaces.

Its dense network of sipes creates additional gripping edges, while the directional V-shaped tread pattern helps to disperse water, slush and loose snow from beneath the tyre.

In addition to the M+S and 3PMSF markings, the model also carries the official Ice Grip symbol. Few studless winter tyres in this price range combine a soft Nordic rubber compound with the Ice Grip certification.

Landsail IceDragon – A studded tyre set to become the market leader in its class

The Landsail IceDragon is a new studded winter tyre designed for passenger cars. Its studs are distributed across the entire tread and form a total of 24 separate rows. This arrangement helps to increase the number of studs that come into contact with an icy road surface.

The studs are supported by a dense network of sipes and a directional V-shaped tread pattern. The studs improve grip on ice, the sipes provide additional traction on snow-covered roads, and the open channels help to disperse water, slush and loose snow from beneath the tyre.

Landsail IceDragon Van – a reinforced studded tyre for commercial vans

The Landsail IceDragon Van is a C-marked studded winter tyre designed for commercial vans. Its reinforced construction and tread pattern take into account the greater weight, variable loads and more intensive use associated with commercial vehicles.

The selection of C-marked studded tyres on the market is relatively limited. IceDragon Van therefore stands out in its segment by offering strong value for money and a competitive option for vans that need to keep moving regardless of winter road conditions.

The studs are positioned across different areas of the tread to support grip when driving in a straight line, braking and changing direction. The sipes provide additional traction on snow and ice, while the directional channels help to disperse water and slush from beneath the tyre.

The model is suitable for couriers, maintenance companies, construction firms and other businesses whose vehicles need to operate throughout winter in cities, on main roads and on smaller snow-covered roads.
